I got around to finishing up this little sketch, due to the motivation from my good buddy John.
I finished the sketch and all the colours live on USTREAM.
And although I ramble A LOT of gibberish while I work, I think it was a pretty good success.

Parts of it are very rough but I am really sleepy now. But she is what she is 'aye.

I'm back! I hope everyone had a great Holiday season!
It has been a very busy time of year for me and my fiance, and I've been feeling terrible for the lack of updates!

We also have a new addition to our family, Buffy the 11 week old Jack Russel pup.
She's a handeful, but gorgeous. I'll post some pics on here soon, I actually did a bit of sketch of her too so I will scan it next time. :)

I'm getting back into the swing of work now, here is a quick colour sketch I whipped up tonight.
I was almost thinking I would try and do one of these everyday.. All year.
But I think that * might * be a bit too much to handle ontop of my workload. ;)

Time flies,it's been a few days with no updates! :O
This is unnacceptable, so I have scanned a few sketches from the infamous Moleskine.

I wish I had more to update but the last few days have been a bit blegh. Today I got a new printer though, which comes with a scanner.. These things are probably standard but for me the scanner was a major upgrade. The scans are so clear it makes me happy :D.

I'll be in touch soon with something actually new, but for the moment enjoy these silly scans. :)

Oh crap, I have to run and put the bins out before its dark! *runs* bye!

I hope everyone is enjoying there weekend!
I went to see 2012 at the cinema last night.. Hmm what can I say about this movie?
I mean the visuals were great but thats basically all it has going for it if you ask me! Shame they didnt have more about the prophecy in the 'story'. :)

Is a Muse song, which I am pretty sure is relatively new. And it's great and I felt like sketching some robots. They're a bit sad though.. I feel like doing some evil robots now!

Decided to flesh this out a bit.. But I am ready to move on I think. Tommorrow is a new day for sketching of course. :)

Confession - The last few days I have been playing fable a bit.
Hannah was playing it too on her PC, and of course her character turns out to be a good guy.. I went the opposite just for fun and did all the evil things in the game and my character basically looks like the horned guy in this sketch. :P

I am a bit over the game now though actually I just cannot be bothered trying to figure out quests.. I just wanted to be evil. MWHAHAHA.

Ok Apart from him the only thing I like in todays sketch is this wierd mustache guy.
I dont know who he is.. he just came out!

So yesterday there was no update.
I'm not sure if it bothered you but it bothered me so today I am back!
And before I get stuck into todays mundane work I am posting a sketch for my buddy John.

I am not sure if he has ever seen it and I know he is a huge Star Wars fan.
Its nothing much but I was really happy with my yoda. I'd love to draw him some more!
These were sketched at Hannahs parents home in New Orleans while we watched I think it was Return of the Jedi. Bah I cant remember now!

So yes I am being cheap and posting a sketch from years ago.. But I might try and get something new done today if I can squeeze it in between my work and etc.

I used to draw Turtles allllllllllllllllllll the time as a kid. I was obsessed.

Welcome to 'From The Depths' , my new sketch blog!

Some of you may be wondering why I have created a blog when I have a website that I could be updating instead? Well the answer is - The site as it is now, everything has to be updated via good old annoying HTML. I cant actually code and so its done using dreamweaver. It seems whenever I updated the blog the layout would just get messed up.

In an attempt to fix this there is a new website on the way being created by the talented Mark Wasyl from DropDeadSexy.net fame. It's taking me a little while to actually get all the content together and info and I wanted to create this blog so I could constantly share what I am doing with who ever is interested.

So to start it off here is a few sketches I did this week. They're just completely random.
